We in the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet invite you to join us in welcoming the brilliant Brazilian musician and guitarist Douglas Lora as our newest member. A master of multiple styles, a composer and an improvisor, Douglas is the ideal person to carry on the LAGQ tradition of exploring music from around the globe and across the centuries. But we’re also celebrating the immense contribution that Scott Tennant has made to LAGQ since our beginnings forty-two years ago. His technical brilliance, inspired musicianship, his creativity and versatility were fundamental in developing LAGQ’s sound and persona.

Scott is truly one-of-a-kind; a beloved icon in the world of guitar, who brought spirit, warmth and humor to LAGQ.
